ZPM’s focus is on breeding large framed, well-structured Poll Merinos with stylish white wools.
Zander Poll Merinos was founded on Woodoona bloodlines in 2018 by Hayden Zander with the purchase of 75 studs’ ewes and 2 rams from the on-property auction both with Moorundie Park sires with one topping the 2018 Woodoona Ram Sale. In 2019 and 2020 ZPM purchased additional 6 and 7yo stud ewes from Kamora Park and Kamora-Netley Park studs.
ZPM successfully purchased lot 6, a massive 136kg son of Moorundie W252 at the White River Merino and Poll Merino Stud 2020 on-property sale for $8,250.
In late 2020, Zander Poll Merinos was officially registered as a Poll Merino Stud.
ZPM is located 20km NW of Karoonda and will be holding their first on-property sale in 2021 offering 20 Poll Merino Rams on Friday 20th of August with a larger offering on the cards for 2022.
